Happy birthday to me…(only a couple weeks late)
I will be dressing as Hermione for Halloween this year, so for my birthday I splurged and used my birthday money to purchase an Alivan’s wand based on Hermione’s vine wand, or rather a set including a wand, scarf, hat (gave to my little brother for his birthday), and stuffed snitch.
Fun fact: JK Rowling based a few of the wand woods on the Celtic calendar, according to which vine is for the month of September; the month of my birthday, as well as the character Hermione’s.
For anyone considering purchasing from Alivan’s I highly recommend it. They often have discounts so be sure to look for them. The scarf I have is SUPER soft and the package was delivered in less than 48 hours. Plus, they make the official brooms for the IQA, so as a quidditch player I am particularly inclined to preach the gospel of their awesomeness.
